What was the last TV DVD you bought?

I've just ordered series 1 of Spitting Image from Play.com, a nostalgia-based purchase prompted by sitting through the largely disappointing Headcases on ITV last night.

I think that the last DVD I bought was 'Cool Hand Luke'. I am currently trying to take advantage of play.com's mega sale, yet have not decided what to purchase. I am very tempted by the early 80's adaptation of 'Beau Geste'.

I'm working my way through the CSI and Battlestar Galactica seasons at the moment.

Thought Gavin and Stacey Series was pretty excellent, but the laughs thin on the ground in series two.

I've been watching a DVD bought a couple of weeks ago - Joking Apart Series Two - a Steven Moffat series brought to DVD by a fan who produced the disc set himself, going through all the channels, mastering it himself, and getting commentaries. Highly recommended, as is Series one.

The last DVD I brought for me was...a long time ago! I usually rent them out to watch from my local library, but haven't done that in a long time either. If I think of anything I'll re-post. At the minute it'll be Pingu for my daughter

I received the original series of The Outer Limits for my birthday. I'm not sure why, but, suspect it may have been on special offer taking into account who gave it to me. :sus: I did receive some other pressies from that person too so I'm not being ungratefull, honest!

I've watched a few episodes. It's rather slow and long winded at times. I mush prefered The Twilight Zone Oh well it's the thought that counts.
I'm not David Mitchell's Mom. I'd just like to adopt him. Nooo not David Mitchell the comedian. Little David Mitchell from Grange Hill Series Three!

Fenn Street Series 2 - great to have these after so many years, and Series 3 - the last of all of the Please Sir gang, comes out in 2 months. I'm snapping them up because they are unlikely to be rereleased.

I think the last tv series I bought was House. Or maybe Ellen.

I did just win series 3 and 4 of Wire in the Blood in a competition. I've no idea if I'll like it though, I'll have to see.

The complete Mr Men (Arthur Lowe) and complete Little Misses (Pauline Collins and John Alderton)

Really bought them so my grandkids can watch them - isn't that right Lilli and James

The last one bought for me was probably Robin Hood (Richard Greene) or William Tell (Conrad Phillips) or even The Army Game....told you I was old

Quite a few new releases of old stuff around - just ordered the Owl Service. Wish "Escape Into The Dark" would be unearthed and released, and the old Just William series from the 70's - almost happened, but something stopped the release - it had Diana Dors as Mrs. Bott.

Fenn Street Gang Series 3 - the last of the Please Sir! spin-offs comes out soon, it will be "neat" (in the words of Dennis) to complete the collection.
