Sunwalk sounds exciting - I imagine you'll need all sorts of protective gear to walk on the sun. Mind you could go at night, then it would be cooler up there!

But on top of work, studying, training for Sunwalk in July , have also been busy trying to find a new job as after eight years need a change from the railways and also need to find time to sleep.!!!! Will try and get back a bit more often now one of my major assignments is complete for this year though.

You're a busy lass, Abf! It's nice to see you whenever you can make it here :D

At the moment I'm waking up progressively earlier each day. This morning it was 5.30am and I finally gave up on further sleep at 6.

I've remembered another great character, who I bet no-one else will know.

Lorna Gunn.

Now that's a testing character for true Cell Blocky people.

If it's one of your premolars, they sometimes do play up after a cold.

Lorna Gunn, know the name can't picture her face or remember her story though.

Do you know DMM I have no idea where that post has come from. I posted it in the Prisoner Cell Block H forum, got an error. Checked out her character to discover it was Lorna Young, re-posted and now it appears on this thread. Weird.

Quite quite bizarre.

Now that's bugging me. Why does that name Gunn sound so familiar in connection with Aussie soaps.

Standing waiting for a train at Colchester North station late yesterday afternoon, who should suddenly walk up on the platform and stand a few feet away? Only that Konnie Huq woman wot used to be on Blue Peter! She's been at Colchester Zoo recently filming a new series of Zoo Days for Five (I'm on the zoo's emailing list, so I know all the goss!) so I dare say she would have been returning from a hard day's interviewing the keepers about the latest zebra birth, or what have you.

Anyway, she was with a couple of other people and spent the whole time giggling, chatting and generally seeming very normal, unstarry and not like our modern-day perception of celebs as obnoxious divs at all. Sadly I couldn't eavesdrop on their conversation once the train arrived as her party went and sat in the tiny first class section at the end of the carriage! Bah! (I can exclusively confirm, however, that she was after some seats with a table. Remember, you read it here first!)

By the way, when I told Sutti about this afterwards the first thing she asked me was whether I'd wrestled the Olympic torch out of the Huq's hand when I saw her. Made me laugh anyway!

She sounded a bit full of herself in an article I read a while back in a Sunday supplement. I remember the article gave the impression she thought she was irrisistable to men. Someone wrote in to the letters page and stated quite bluntly it was her celeb status males were after not her. :?

It was Friday the Thirteenth yesterday, I've just noticed it's now tomorrow, as in Saturday, according to my clock. I didn't realise untill I arrived home and pondered on the events of my exciting day what the date was. i knew it was Friday though  .

Just goes to show Friday 13th can strike when you don't even know it's Friday 13th.

I'm off to Bristol to see Bon Jovi tomorrow...the last time I was at a Bon Jovi concert was 19 years ago

Should be good though as I'm meeting up with old schoolfriends too.

Talk about reliving my youth!

Oh don't worry, we're all reliving our youth in one way or another these days! (although some of us never really got past that stage, if I'm honest! )

A first for me today - the Barclaycard statement I received this morning was for precisely zilch! (I've been whacking all my purchases on my debit card instead this month - far more agreeable  )

I had a couple of unpleasant "firsts" at my Bon Jovi concert last night...I've been to several concerts in my time, but this is the first time that someone stood behind me has urinated just where he stood during the concert directly down the back of my legs!! (No exaggeration...the back of my jeans were soaked in the stuff :( )
It is also the first time I have ever punched someone!! I lost my cool at that point I'm ashamed to say..these 2 blokes and their selfish drunken antics had been ruining the concert for everyone around them and that was the last straw for me...when he just grinned at me when I had a go at him for peeing on me, I just punched him right on the nose! It just kind of happened..I'm normally quiet and well-behaved...honest...that wasn't like me at all...I'm not proud of myself but I have to admit, it felt good

Apart from that, I had a great time!! :D
