.....Second Season boxed DVD set of Millenium. I snapped up on Ebay for £3.99 (inc p&p) :D I felt sorry for the seller actually :? I always feel guilty picking things up for so little.

4 door handles. Really! One of my door handles jammed shut! I had a great time trying to remove the lock to get the door open. Luckily it was the door that leads from the living room to the dining room and there is another door to the dinning room via the kitchen. I'm replacing the demon locks with the roller ball type now and pull handles.

Christmas cards and one of the 6 christmas presents (to give to others) I'm waiting for. I hope they arrive this week :?

I've sent zilch cards as yet including the ones I should have sent before the international last day for posting passed

The pressie arrived Saturday afternoon  All the rest present and correct

Total number of cards not sent 3. There's always someone's that's sitting there minding it's own business, not drawing attension to itself, hiding under a magazine put on top by someone else

Anyway phonecall to Specsavers confirmed I had had a check up in October and they had forgot to update their computer

Not getting much lately. I did get series 4 of "That 70's Show" a while back. I've only managed to get through the first two discs so far.

Had my Barclaycard statement through. It's slowly being paid off, which is nice I guess.

An envelope arrived for me today with "National Credit Control" printed along the top, which I didn't think sounded good news!!
Indeed, inside was a letter headed "PAYMENT REMINDER".
As I was reading that, I was already trying to go over in my head if there was something I was late paying for, and couldn't think of anything so I read on....
"According to our records there is an outstanding balance owing on your account. Our normal terms of payment are seven days from statement date and this has now expired...."
It then goes on to remind me how I can pay this outstanding balance and asks me for prompt payment....
and then tells me what this huge amount is which I must pay as soon as possible....

£0.00 !!!!

   My cleared credit card statement always has a little note that the estimated interest of £0.00 will be payable should I pay the minimum payment of £0.00, which makes me laugh.

Talking of credit cards, I think the ressession may be over considering the number of credit card applications that have dropped though my letter box over the last couple of weeks.

I've also received lots of catalogues. The oddest of them was for nautical themed goods and clothing, Nauticalia!

I could do with a daily collection for my paper recycling. :?

Got the Non-League Directory from 1987 through the post the other day. We complain about clubs going out of business now, but looking through the league half the teams from then have gone to the wall before 2000. Some have progressed of course (like Wigan for one).

Not getting much in the post, but hopeful of a birthday card on Saturday!

A DVD I'd pre-ordered from play.com.
'Clash of the Santas'. It's not due to be released until Monday so was pleasently surprised to receive it today.

It's great when they arrive ahead of schedule isn't it? It feels like you've beaten the system or something

I had a windfall the other day: kindly Mr Postie delivered me a new passport, the latest copy of When Saturday Comes football magazine and a DVD (which is a Christmas present for someone who reads this forum and which therefore will remain unrevealed here! ;)

Recently nothing. The last thing was probably a bill.

The last interesting thing was a couple of DVDs from WH Smith. I haven't been on eBay for ages either.
