Live Performances

Can you hear it pumping on your stereo?

I'm off to see Muse tonight!

This year has been a bit slow on the live music front for me...I've only seen Keane in Feb and that's about it, but Muse are returning to Teignmouth, Devon, where they started out, to play their homecoming gigs tonight and tomorrow.

Hope it stays dry as it's an outdoor gig on the green by the sea front!

Muse were amazing!! I am proud to be Devonian!!

It was such a great atmosphere and the weather was lovely!

It was a fantastic event for the town...Teignmouth is only a little seaside place. The arena was set up on the large green by the seafront near the pier and it was all very well organised.
Before the show, walking through the town, all the shops had notices up welcoming Muse back to their hometown, all the pubs and takeaways had set up BBQs outdoors and there were street entertainers...everyone was stood around soaking up the atmosphere. There were loads of people without tickets who had just come to listen from outside on the beach.
I'm so glad I got a ticket though. The gig was so good!! It was the first time I've seen Muse live and I couldn't think of a better place to see them. It was very special being there for their first "homecoming gig" :-D

Radio 1 were there on the 2nd night...you can see some of the gig on their website if anyone is vaguely interested!

Went to see A-ha at The Manchester Arena on Tuesday night. Brilliant night & at last I was on the front row! :D Although right at the very end so had to be careful with the 'camera police' :P
Played both new and old songs, they looked like they were having fun too, although Magne did seem to forget where he was when he asked 'Are you enjoying yourselves Birmingham?' (They played their the previous night).
And the highlight for me was finally getting my photo took with Morten Harket after the concert. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Although it meant hanging around outside in the freezing cold & rain for what seemed like ages but was sooooo worth it.
Been cold, soaked through & maybe a little bit 'high' on painkillers resulted in me looking awful, never mind, Morten looked good.
