Big Brother Series 10

Postby The Head on Thu May 28, 2009 1:50 pm

There is just a week to go

The house has been hit by the credit crunch as pictures of a small garden (no swimming pool) are revealed. The smoking area is a metal hammock type thing which will prove uncomfortable. Furniture and luxuries are to be a minimum, and hopefully so will the intellect of the housemates.

I'm still here, which means I have failed to win the audition process. They don't know what they're missing.

Who will be this years Mo :afro:

Find out NEXT Thursday night!! AGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

Anyone up for a Big brother predictions league to replace the football one? Points will be awarded for guessing evictees, number of mistakes made by Davina, which housemate will be first to pose in Nuts etc? If I get a resounding response by a week today, no forget resounding, I will accept *a* response, then its a goer!

If you can work it, then I'm in. Anything for a laugh.

I'm in three, Savage! Great idea! Can I straight away predict that someone will have a 'mission' during the first week?

This series has sneaked up on me a bit, which is no bad thing. The less hype, the more I'll enjoy it. Probably :|

So what are people making of the new series then?

I usually have totally different opinions to everyone else, so it should be a good debate

I love Freddie the Halfwit. So glad he's stayed in so far.
Charlie is a laugh, but I don't think he'll win.
Noirin might get more annoying as time goes by. Same for Marcus and Suevash.
Fed up with the fakery of Kris and Dogface.
I think Carly could win, but feel there is a more nasty side to her.
Lisa has no chance.
Rodrigo (Fez) is alright, but has no personality.

Sure I'm forgetting someone, but finally Sree. What a creepy little sh*tstirring, game playing, stalking, tw*t!

I must admit Freddie has become one of my favourites as time as gone by. Feel so sorry for him because he keeps getting nominated but pleased that he survived yet another eviction.
Angel I wasn't sure what to make of her, she could be interesting with her strange eccentric behaviour but I couldn't stand both entry into the house or the same with her when she was evicted, she put me in mind of Johnny Depp's version of Willy Wonka
Marcus I can't stand. Sree is an annoying little stalker type thing.
Rodrigo I love, I want to adopt him as my little pet
I'm quite enjoying it this year. :D

I find I'm watching BB less and less at the moment. The trouble is, I can't develop any strong feelings either way about any of the housemates this year; don't hate any, don't really like any. At a push I'd say Siavash & Rodders seem like quite decent types, and Freddie at least seems to have half a brain on him. As for the rest of them - meh! Someone on Digital Spy described them as: "Lisa and her team of failed holiday reps". Which made me laugh (as well as summing them up very well)

I'll definitely keep my eye in though. And who knows, they may introduce some more interesting housemates at some point. (I won't hold my breath, mind.)

I've not watched much and only the eviction last week.

The two I didn't like from the off have gone. Good result for me so far then

Here are my thoughts on it all

Saffia

It's a shame she didn't wait until after the eviction one to see if the vile Sophia went. Although, unlike the nasty audience in BBBM, I could see that the damage had been done. Had Sophia not been such a bully, Kris and Sophie not done their fakery, she would have enjoyed her stay and not missed her kids so much.

Sophia

What a nasty little creature. She was a bully and unlike the shrink said in her eviction interview, she didn't attack Saffia because she was the alpha female, she did it because she was Miss Average. The other females had an edge. eg. weirdo Angel, tough Lisa, blonds twosome and Norin with the sparkle, yes, she has something about her but I think her game plan is going to backfire soon. Poor Saffia was just average and threfore easy picking for the midget bully.

Cairon

I'm so glad he went the foul moutherd and foul mannered freak. When he was sniffing then spitting it out while talking to Siavash in the smoking area, I was nearly sick!. Nasty little creature all round.

Angel

Werdo, say no more.

Charlie

I quite like him. He's the sort of person who'd be good to have as a friend.

Freddie

He does make me laugh. He does that thing which is infuriating but funny at the same time. He talks endlessly and you wait for him to get the the point but all you want to say when he's funished is "and" because he hasn't actually said anything or made a point.

Karly

Typical BB blond

Kris

I find him a bit boring and he does nothing for me.

Lisa

I'll quote a friend on this one..

"Why does everyone who appears on these programmes from the West Midlands have to be old, ugly, fat, black, a disgusting command of the English language and a really revolting accent..or all the these"

I must admit I've never heard anyone from the West Midland with an accent as awful as hers. I don't think it's the actual accent, I think it's just bad grammer! Or, as one BB fan I overheard on Saturday said

"She's so common. She makes me cringe when she talks"

and that was from a young lady with a Brummie accent  and no, she sounded nothing like Lisa.

Marcus

Gives me the creeps. *shudder*

Noirin

User! She knows exactly what she's doing. Crafty madam.

Rodrigo

He is so cute. I hope he wins.

Siavash

I can't get past his need to F'ing say the F word in every sentence. Each time he opens his mouth I think here we F'ing go again.

Sophie

Fake. I think her relationship and how she is with other inmates is one big act.

Sree

I thought he was quite funny at first and felt a little sorry for him but now I'm thinking shut up Sree. His bragging, his slurping over Norin, his little weepies, he is just too much.

The odds on Sree going on Friday must be pretty high. I think Freddie will survive because I suspect his friends and family have shares in BT

We'll see

Thankfully Sree has gone. Now we just have to get rid of Carly, Lisa, Kris and Rodrigo.

For the first time ever I actually picked up the phone and voted to get Sree out.

I wonder who Halfwit will beat next Friday?

I see Halfwit's up with half the house this week! I'm hoping for a double eviction, with Kris and Chuckles the Clown Charlie saying auf wiedersehen.

Wouldn't it be great to see some new housemates, by the way? Or is that just me? I'm so bored with this current lot I can't tell you

I think Charlie still have some life left in him, but not much the way he is going.

Personally I'd boot everyone out apart from Halfwit and Dogface (unless they can get someone better looking into the house). It'll be between Kris and Markus on Friday I feel. Haven't voted yet (my first time was for Sree) but I think Kris will get the call.

Total minutes of BB watched this week ZILCH, but, I might look in on C4+1 later to see who and how many go.

I watched about five mins of Sree's interview last week (all I watched again) and that was enough of him already.

Don't think I'll bother watching any more. I think BB has run it's caurse (is that the right spelling? Can 't be botherd to check. ) and it's time the Summer was spent on something new.

The best for me will always be BB1, the original. I think I'd rather watch repeats of that than another bunch of misfits that now know the game and how to play it. :sus:
