Just William

So hot on the heels of Escape into Night is a release at the end of June of Just William, the 70's version which had Diana Dors as Mrs. Bott and Bonnie Langford as her "scream-and-scream-till-i'm-thick" daughter. This was supposed to be released a few years ago, and somehow never made it, perhaps some rights issue. This time I'm more hopeful because there's actually cover art.

Bonnie Langford used to make me laugh in Just William. I only remember Bonnie and Diana Dors, but remember I watched it.

I watched a documentary about Diana Dors on ITV the other Sunday. I've seen her in quite varied rolls over the years and always though she was such a good character actor. I think her glamour girl image held her back rather than helped her career. :(
I'm not David Mitchell's Mom. I'd just like to adopt him. Nooo not David Mitchell the comedian. Little David Mitchell from Grange Hill Series Three!
