Series 1 of a brilliant Australian comedy drama called Always Greener. You've probably never heard of it, but trust me, you could do a lot lot worse than to seek this one out. To paraphrase Victor Kiam, I liked it so much I bought the boxset!

The last one I got was Not Going Out series 2. It's a fantastic comedy with my favourite comedian of all time Tim Vine in it.

The first series wasn't that good the first time around, however watching it again alongside series 2 and it really is a class act.

Series 3 is on BBC1 on Friday nights.
"I don't like The Bill, honest."

Remember to put a prediction in RED!!!

The Greatest Store in the World

Nothing to do with who plays the Elf :whome:
I'm not David Mitchell's Mom. I'd just like to adopt him. Nooo not David Mitchell the comedian. Little David Mitchell from Grange Hill Series Three!

Hughesy, can this topic be opened up to Blu ray discs too as that is the format of choice for some who have made the move in to HD?

No! But I am considering it, and being able to contribute in this thread may be the decision maker!

Survivors - 2 of the original boxsets. :D Series 1 & 2. Been wanting to see the original Survivors for ages but found the prices on-line a bit steep. So today was rather pleased when I went to visit my Mum and decided to have a look round the market & browsing a dvd stall I discovered 2 of these boxsets for a bargain price of £9.99. Quickly snapped them up. Can't wait to start watching them. :D :D :D

Blimey, that's proper good value! Are you enjoying them? I couldn't stop watching these episodes once I'd put them on.

Last DVD I bought was an Australian comedy series called The Librarians.

Are these Blu Ray things all that you dreamed they'd be? (assuming you've got round to buying some to put in the player by now!)

It's great! Very true to the book too, although it is slightly worrying that since I started watching it all of a sudden the news is full of stories about how there's a 'pandemic' of Swine Flu.
Maybe watching Survivors will give me some tips then on what to do if the worse was to happen
