Law and Order (UK)

Postby David Mitchell's Mom on Thu Feb 26, 2009 9:40 pm

Was I all excited to see one of my fav US show's Law and order had flown it's franchise (and very pleased to find I'd spelt that word correctly when I checked the spelling) to our shore.

Yes, and was I a tad disapointed the same story, nay script, had been used as Law and order US :(

From the preview it looks like the next one is a direct copy too. Ahh well. I'll probably watch it anyway.

The UK version does seem to lack the drama of the US though. Although it's good to see some drama on TV in any form.

I've not tuned in to this and will never tune in, for two reasons: Bradley and Walsh! Gah. I'd never watch anything with that chicken-in-a-basket style alleged comedian in! What a strange piece of casting. Thanks ITV!

I really feel like having a chicken in basket now Hughes! Even though it is breakfast time!
Was it me or was Law and Order (10:35pm) on late for a high profile new series?

Poor Bradley! What did he do for you to liken him to the favourite pub grub of the 80's? Actually, I've only seen him as an 'actor', eg in Corrie, and game show presenting, so I can't commment on his comedic ability.

I think Bradley's a rather good actor though. He's very believable as the detective in Law and Order (UK)

I've been watching Law and Order (UK) it at 9pm and ITV 1 on Monday nights. In the Central region anyway. It confirms that time etc on this little interview with Jammie Bamber and Bradley Walsh(Shhhh, don't tell Hughesy   )
