Charlotte Hatherley, ex-Ash guitarist. Last night I was trying to explain to Hughesy why I like her music so much but I ended up rambling incoherently and saying the word 'ace' a lot.

I love her music because it's original. I honestly believe you won't hear any other songs out there written the way hers are. They're so unpredictable (in a good way) and even when I've heard them lots of times before, I can hardly guess where they're going next. I'm always surprised when a chorus shows up!

Plus her guitar riffs are awesome! Have a listen to Very Young on her myspace page for an example of great guitar.

I have just found about Your Heart Breaks and I think they are brilliant! It was the kind of thing where I wanted to buy everything they've ever released after hearing just one song.
