I'm excited :D
It took me a while to love Heroes. It was episode 17 (i think, it was company man ) when I went from idly watching it to wanting to gossip and obsess over it.
I hope Peter's ok and they stop mutilating him this season. I feel quite motherly towards him now.

I'm afraid Peter won't be back for series 2 as, in a(n admittedly futile) bid to escape the whole Heroes/being terrorised by Sylar thing, he's joined the witness protection programme and is currently masquerading as an injury-prone Manchester United and England footballer:

You'll notice from the pics that he's also cannily had reconstructive surgery to make himself look about five years older and a bit uglier. Clever, no? :sus:

Had a sneak early look at episode 1 and 2 a long while ago, but they were so heavily polluted with the junk Americans have to put up with during their programmes' broadcast that it will be good to see them properly again, besides I've forgotten what happened. If I lived in the US I'd never watch any live tv.

I do hear that this second lot isn't so highly rated.

Don't know much about this programme but I remember reading a news story about the creator of it actually apologising to viewers for how disappointing the first few episodes of the second series are. It stuck in my mind because that's got to be quite an unusual kind of apology! Refreshing to see. Though not very encouraging for any would-be viewers, I'd imagine.

Meanwhile, Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas will return as series 1 baddie Sylar:

I'm quite looking forward to series two but I really have no idea what to expect. :?

That makes sense actually - Fabregas running rings round and generally terrorising Gary Neville!

Son of schizo Nicky/Jessica Micah's back for series 2 as well, cunningly disguised as -yep, you've guessed it - another footballer! Sunderland's Kieran Richardson:

Where will it all end?

So, series 2, episode 1...didn't grab me as much as the beginning of series 1, but hopefully it'll improve...

At least it's not just a continuation of series 1...there's new characters and a new bad guy...still some of the annoying characters from series 1 left though

I'm not sure about it yet but considering it took me till half way through the first series to connect with it, I need to give it more time.
I like the turnaround with Nathan. He's perhaps not the creep I thought he was. I like the guilty screwed up version of him better than the amoral power mad version.
and it's funny that Hiro's hero is english. It reminds me of when Margaret Cho talked about how there were never ever chinese people on tv except for Kung Fu, and that was led by David Carrandine so it should have really been called "Hey that's guy's not chinese."

Peter's floppy fringe appears to have gone. Let's hope he's not like Samson.

The highlight of episode one for me was seeing Stephen Tobolowsky AKA Ned Ryerson ("Ned? Ned Ryerson?!") from Groundhog Day as boring Mohinder's new friend/contact/secretly evil bloke (delete as applicable).

My god that squeaky brat's annoying though! The one wot's living with the chubby ex-copper who's suddenly become a copper again. And, being a kid in a drama like this, she'll never ever get killed off. Bah.

I actually wrote a very similar thing in my post last week but edited it out for fear of upsetting anyone who admires precocious cutesy American child actors....

I didn't like the toe bit this week....it was quite gross (yeah I know working in a hospital I should be used to a bit of blood and gore but it always looks worse on TV! )

All 9 episodes of series 2 are excellent. I've already seen them and the ending is fantastic. The cast is starting to get over run by Star Trek actors though.

Yes, still wouldn't miss it - love the characters and the kind of all-family-together cast.

Actually understanding what the hell is going on is another thing!

Saw episode 1 of S3 yesterday, but saved episode 2 for tonight.

It's that time of year when we get the good yank shows back (the others being the 3 CSI and Greys Anatomy), but we'll have to wait a while longer for LOST.
"I don't like The Bill, honest."

Remember to put a prediction in RED!!!
