Escape into Night

Amazed to see this ancient spooky piece of Childrens' tv is to be released in May, though I'll believe it when it's in my grubby paws. Remember this from childhood, think it was early 70's. Very atmospheric version of Marianne's Dreams, superior to the movie Paperhouse. My sister used to scare me by saying "Curtains, Curtains" - vague memory of the rocks saying that over the radio in the dream house. Sadly only in B/W, but then that's all we had back then anyway...

I read Marianne's Dreams, when I was a nipper, it was eerie!

Good though. I read it at the same time as a book called Children of Morrow. which was disturbing too.

I didn't know Marianne's Dreams had been made into a film or series. I'll have to look out for the series.
I'm not David Mitchell's Mom. I'd just like to adopt him. Nooo not David Mitchell the comedian. Little David Mitchell from Grange Hill Series Three!
