ooh...wasn't expecting that ending

He's not really going to regenerate is he? :(
I reckon there's going to be some way out of it, with all these parallel universes and time shifts and things.
Anyway, hasn't the Christmas special already been filmed with David Tennant in it?

It's all good stuff though...apparently next week's final episode is 65 minutes long so it should be a good one with lots happening :D

I was a little bit disapointed to be honest. :(

I'm wondering if the Doc will regenerate and return as David Tennant, but, with a Scottish accent or blond hair.   He's signed up for a few years yet to play the role, so I'm told. :|

Wouldn't it be cool if he regenerated into Tom Baker for an episode!

Apparently the original one has moved on to Eastenders now.

Or is that Bobby Stavros?!

Saturday's episode (of Doctor Who I mean, not Eastenders!) was certainly action-packed. I'm really hoping that they're throwing us a red herring with all this "sorry for your loss" stuff to Donna and that it's actually Rose who's going to cop it instead. I'm just annoyed that they're undoing all the good work from that time when she got marooned in another universe a few years ago with this "Oh look, I'm back!" gubbins. So, to borrow a phrase from my other life as a Big Brother fan - Rose needs to go!

Also, can we purlease shift the action away from the (by now completely overdone in the R.T.D. era) aliens-invading-planet-earth storylines? As Sutti said to me when we were discussing this the other night, the people on new Doctor Who's version of earth have witnessed so many alien invasions in the past few years that you'd think they'd be quite blasé about them by now!

Funny cos on Bobby Davros tv weekly he used to do an awesome impression of Zippy from rainbow and everybody knows the same guy voices the daleks who did the voice of zippy from Rainbow, so maybe Davros could dust off his impression skills and join the fun on saturday night as the voice of some of the daleks!?

I never liked Rose or rated Billie as an actress, what was all that "I'm Rose Tyler and today is the day I die" at the start of the episode where she was written out about, anyway. She didnt die, she was trapped "forever" in the same universe as Mickey who came back about a week later and now she has come back. The incidental music and pitiful attempts at playing on the viewers emotions just dont work. If they really want the viewers to care then death should mean death, not "gone away for a bit but coming back".

Wouldn't it have been cracking if Rose wasnt really back but it was some holographic generated trap to lure the Doctor.

Well tonight is the big one then!!! The Final ep of Doctor Who until Christmas

Which companion will die? Will they die or just go into another dimension like Rose  Will the Doctor regenerate into himself...or David Morrissey, who is playing "The Other Doctor" in the Christmas ep?

Will Dalek Caan die? Will the Supreme Dalek die (by the hands - or gun - of Captain Jack)? Will Gwen and Ianto be exterminated? Will Sarah Jane die? Will Character Options have a field day creating action figures and sets based on this episode alone (yes)!

Will my head explode before it starts!!!!!!

Role on tonight...and I didn't even mention Mickey and Jackie coming back either

Cor what an ep. Not as good as ep 12, but ep 13 certainly had it all.

Great to see Mickey and Jackie back. I hear Mickey and Martha are joining the cast of Torchwood now to replace Owen and Tosh, so that should be good.

Who would have thought it eh! Billie Piper's mouth sounded funny again  She was even whistling at one point during her speech in the Tzzzardizzzz

Pitty we didn't see Caan or Davros die. I guess they'll be back in the next series (or one of the mini-eps at least).

Lovely teaser for the Chrimbo ep as well. Cybermen, David Morrissey (told you he was playing "The other Doctor") and Dervla Kerwin.

ooh, so much in one episode.
And such a depressing ending. I love it.

There's been rumours for a while that mickey and Martha would be joining Torchwood. It looks more likely now. Personally I would be very happy if the Doctor's daughter joined them. I think they need someone like her.

What a sad ending. I'm going to miss Donna Noble. :( I think she's my favourite Companion. I was so impresed with Catherine Tate in that role. I'll miss the comedy between Donna and Doctor and the moving moments.

My favorite comedy bits from this weeks episode are, when the Blue Doctor appears

Donna..."It's you"
Doctor..."Oh Yes"
Donna..."You're naked"
Doctor..."Oh Yes"

 and the Blue Doctor and Donna's dialogue when the Blue Doctor picks up Donna's speach. It was hilarious

I'm not keen on the soppy Doctor *hearts* Rose stuff but the irony that Donna knows the Doctor has to wipe Donna's memory so Donna won't remember anything about the Doctor or their adventures, well, I shed a tear or two  and when she hardly gave him the time of day when he said his last goodbye, I felt his pain  not to mention when Grandad told the doctor he'll remember him for Donna  So sad.

The final episode was a masterpiece! I was so impressed that something from almost every episode was bought into this last episode, all the Children of Time and six at the controlls of the TARDIS. That was so funny and explaned why the TARDIS had always seemed to be such an bumpy ride in the past.

Yes it was a cracker to end on. :D

I'm a bit disapointed the Christmas ep has the Cybermen back though. It would be good to bring back another old enemy or even have a new one. I think we've already seen enough of the Cybermen and Darlek.

Dont' forget the Doctor Who Prom - on the radio tomorrow at 11.00 am. Presumably it will be on TV eventually - don't know why it isn't live.

I've been watching Dr Who on BB3, UK Gold and BBC iplayer for the past two weeks. I'm becoming quite a Dr Who addict.

I'd forgotten how much I liked Chris Ecclescake's DR. :(

Did anyone else see David Tennant's anouncement on the National Television Awards last night ?

It was splashed accross a couple of papers today too. That was a surprise. :?

I usually record award shows so I can flit through and just watch the bits I'm interested in. I find award shows quite boring and irritating. :x

I think I half expected it really, it will be four series (if you count the hodge podge of stories we'll get in 2009) that Tennant's done, and he's done a marvellous job.

Now we have the worry that they'll pick the wrong person. Best choice would be someone I've never heard of.
