Christmas songs

Can you hear it pumping on your stereo?

Christmas songs

Postby Sutti's big hair on Fri Dec 05, 2008 9:49 pm

Well, it's that time of year again - when you can't go near a shop without hearing Slade or Wizzard blaring out of it.

With so many Christmas songs out there, what's your favourite?

(P.S. I've made a Christmas CD again this year. If you'd like one, just drop me a PM with your address in it.)

I think my favourite has got to be 'Fairy tale of New York'. :D

I posted about this subject on another forum, so I'll share it with you too.

I always find myself singing along with Mariah Carey  and "All I Want For Chrimbo Is You", although I like the version in Love Actually actually.

Slade is usually the song we hear and say: "Now we know it's Christmas".
"I don't like The Bill, honest."

Remember to put a prediction in RED!!!

I have a copy of Sutti's latest Christmas CD (they're fast becoming legendary) playing at the moment. It's a thing of wonder, for sure! She does all the artwork herself too. I'd drop her a PM a bit sharpish if I were you :D

My favourite Christmas song has always been (well, not always, but for a very long time) Greg Lake's I Believe In Father Christmas. It's the Prokofiev bits that do it I think. (note to self: listen to some actual Prokofiev sometime!)

I've only been listening to Christmas songs for the last couple of days.

Fairytale of New York always puts me in the Christmas mood and I adore The power of Love by Frankie. Do You Hear What I Hear
always makes me feel quite emotional for some reason when I hear it but, I like it too.

I've had this mp3 disc with 50 assorted Christmas songs for about 5 years but I only actually listened to it this year. It's quite good
I'm not David Mitchell's Mom. I'd just like to adopt him. Nooo not David Mitchell the comedian. Little David Mitchell from Grange Hill Series Three!
